NOTE:
The appointee is not eligible to fill the engineer representative seat since she is not an engineer
registered by the State. The Administration has requested that the bill be amended to revise the
appointee’s seat to the general contractor representative since she meets the qualifications for that
seat. The general contractor seat is currently filled by Sonny Lloyd who is serving a term ending
September 30, 2025. The Administration has requested that Mr. Lloyd be replaced; however, Mr.
Lloyd has not resigned from the Construction Trades Qualifying Board. Pursuant to Code Section
62.102(b), any member of the Board may be removed from office for cause by a two-thirds vote of
the entire Council.

• If the Company ceases operations within 5 years of disbursement of the BIG Grant, the
Company shall pay the City $20,000 for each whole year and partial year not in operation within
the 5-year period
