Discussion of Condition of First Set of Murals Each commissioner commented broadly on the status of each set of murals they were assigned. All commissioners noted that exposure to the elements and the surface the mural was created on were significant factors for their current condition. All noted there was very little graffiti present and some had been touched up. Many murals were almost completely worn or peeling away. The subcommittee concludes that a lack of maintenance policy is an issue.
