Commissioner Carmine commented that $1,500 would likely be a little low for two years worth of work. Additional discussion was had on the expected volume of work and how the expected work load might alter the proposed honorarium amount. The subcommittee also discussed allowing qualified judges participate in the evaluation committee, even if they do not live in Joliet. It was determined that between three and five judges would be sufficient. Commissioner Wright added that the sitting Poet Laureate should be a judge for the next Poet Laureate. It was determined that the scope of the building would influence whether an external partner would be needed to execute the gallery. Commissioner Gorder stated that between the Commission and Art Movement, that a lot of the programming tasks could be accomplished without an external partner. Gorder also stated that two weeks would be necessary to install the artwork in the show. Commissioner Wright stated that musicians would need to know of performing dates several months prior to dates .
