ROLL CALL 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS None This section is for anyone wanting to speak regarding agenda items and are allowed a maximum of 4 minutes. It is not a question and answer period and staff, and the Commission members do not generally respond to public comments. The City Clerk has a copy of the public speaking procedures; please note, speakers who engage in conduct injurious to the harmony of the meeting shall be called to order by the Presiding Officer and may forfeit the opportunity to speak. 4. FUTURE FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES TO FOCUS ON IN 2022 a. Art Walk The subcommittee discusses all the details and logistics of items that need to be completed for the Art Walk. The items that were discussed were the event form, communication with local businesses, musicians, and artists, the sound systems and any rentals, outdoor art work, the flow and time of the event, cost, and support. b. Sponsorship/Partnerships The subcommittee discussed the changes and edits that should be considered to the sponsorship form. The subcommittee discussed the different levels and what goes with each level of sponsorship. The subcommittee discussed having this form ready for the Whole Commission by the next meeting for review. c. Interactive Art The subcommittee discussed what would be happening in the Chicago Street lot on the day of the event. The subcommittee discussed live art making and artists being able to display their final or in process pieces and people being able to walk around to talk about their work. d. Next Steps The subcommittee discussed what items need to be completed before our next meeting and then the before the Whole Arts Commission Meeting for review and approval. e. GRANT The subcommittee discussed where the process of the grant is at application is currently at and what the next steps are before the completing the filing will be done. 6. REVIEW TIMELINE FOR FUTURE ITEMS a. Planning for Future Funding Subcommittee meetings The subcommittee discussed the importance of meeting more often with getting things ready for the art walk. The subcommittee discussed checking our calendars and figuring out some dates and times that all can be present at the meeting. b. Goals and items that can be worked on before next meetings The subcommittee discussed having sponsorship form, event paper work, and call for music and art form ready to go to discuss at our next meeting before sharing with the Whole Commission. 7.
