Under Phase 5, all sectors of the economy can resume at regular capacity with new safety guidelines and procedures. Pursuant to the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity’s Guidelines, it is recommended that any individual appearing in-person who is not fully vaccinated wear a face-covering to cover their nose and mouth. Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments in advance of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov. Commissioner Adamowski seconded the motion. Unanimous vote to enter closed session. Chairman Wooten seconded the motion. Conditional appointment approved unanimously. Chairman Wooten moved to deny appointment to #19 Brandon Davis. Commissioner Purchase seconded the motion. Denial of appointment voted unanimously. Commissioner Price moved to conditionally appoint #20 Kevin Cook. Chairman Wooten seconded the motion to appoint. Conditional appointment approved unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENTS - None ADJOURNMENT Secretary Price motioned to adjourn. Commissioner Purchase seconded the motion. Unanimous vote to adjourn.
