CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL Present Brad Price, Quinn Adamowski, Rosa Hernandez, Janean Jackson and John Lukancic CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS - None This section is for anyone wanting to speak regarding agenda items and are allowed a maximum of 4 minutes. It is not a question and answer period and staff, and the Commission members do not generally respond to public comments. The City Clerk has a copy of the public speaking procedures; please note, speakers who engage in conduct injurious to the harmony of the meeting shall be called to order by the Presiding Officer and may forfeit the opportunity to speak. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE OFFICERS Price moved to appoint Adamowski to Chairman of the Board of Fire and Police Hernandez seconded the motion Motion passed unanimously EXECUTIVE SESSION Adamowski moved to enter Executive Session Lukancic seconded the motion Vote to enter Executive Session was unanimous APPOINTMENT OF JOLIET POLICE OFFICERS #84 Amber Ulatowski to appoint by Lukancic, seconded bt Hernandez. Unanimous vote to appoint #85 Michael Foote withdrew 2-18-22 #86 Michael Dastych to appoint by Lukancic, seconded by Price, Unanimous vote to appoint #87 Jessie Ewangan to appoint by Lukancic, seconded by Jackson, Unanimous vote to appoint #88 Nicholas Bolin withdrew 2-23-22 #89 Luke Gilbertson to deny by Lukancic, seconded by Price, Unanimous to deny #90 Leslye Rodriguez-Bencomoto apppoint by Likancic, seconded by Hernandez, Unanimous vote to appoint PUBLIC COMMENT - None ADJOURNMENT Page 1 of 2 Board of Fire and Police Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Pending Approval July 21, 2022 Lukancic moved to adjourn Price seconded the motion Unanimous vote to adjourn This meeting will be held in an accessible location.
