CITY MANAGER:
The Interim City Manager reminded the Mayor and Council of the new city square design
open house meeting at the downtown public library on Thursday.
NEW BUSINESS (Not for Final Action or Recommendation):
A brief discussion was held concerning the completion of the downtown parking study.
Councilman Clement spoke regarding the possibility of the City getting a sidewalk grinder.
Councilwoman Ibarra also discussed the upcoming new city square.
Mayor D'Arcy discussed the positive feedback he received regarding the Special Meeting with
Brad Cole. He highlighted the Grand Opening of the Lion Electric facility on Friday. The
Mayor thanked Sabina Spano for her hard work and service.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Sara Broadnax spoke regarding neglected areas on the east side.
Mr. Ramirez spoke regarding safety concerns at the intersection of Youngs Avenue and
Jackson Street. A brief discussion was held regarding this intersection.
Mr. Ramirez's son spoke regarding tinted window, accidents at Youngs Avenue and Jackson
Street and sidewalk repairs on Youngs Street.
