As of August 30, 2021, Governor Pritzker announced a statewide indoor mask mandate for all Illinois residents, regardless of
vaccination status.
In compliance with Governor Pritzker’s mandate, any individual appearing in person must wear a face-covering to cover their
nose and mouth.
Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments in advance of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov.

2021 A YEAR IN REVIEW
Mr. David Braner, IT CIO, reviewed the list of major IT projects that were complete for 2021.
Mr. Braner also reviewed projects that began in 2021 and are ongoing into year 2022. Mr.
Braner presented the IT Vision and Mission for 2022 to help facilitate collaboration, resources
sharing, and alignment citywide government services to exceed citizen expectation.

2022 PROJECT ROADMAP
Mr. David Braner, IT CIO, reviewed the list of major IT projects/initiatives for this year 2022.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES MATRIX
Mr. David Braner, IT CIO, presenting a professional service council memo that includes a
metrics of pricing. A public notice will be advertised asking vendors to include how much they
would charge to provide for their services based on the categories that meet our needs . Mr.
Chris Sternal, IT Manager, stated that this practice compares costs and experience between
vendors to see which ones would meet the city's needs throughout the year.
