ROLL CALL Present Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, Councilwoman Bettye Gavin and Councilman Cesar Guerrero APPROVAL OF MINUTES TMP-4143 Attachments: CTIS Minutes 6-1-22 The Minutes 6-1-22 were approved CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS None This section is for anyone wanting to speak regarding agenda items and are allowed a maximum of 4 minutes. LASER FICHE DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT PROJECT UPDATE Chris Sternal, IT Manager, provided on update on the Laser Fiche project. Mr. Sternal stated that the Information Technology and City Clerk's office are researching a new document management system call Laser Fiche to replace the current system called Content Verse. He stated that Laser Fiche can help they city digitize documents management and storage . He also stated that the system allows for forms automation making the approval process more efficient. Mr. Sternal stated that phase 1 of this project will cost $190,000. This was recommend for approval. Page 1 of 2 Communication, Technology & Information Meeting Minutes - Final July 20, 2022 Systems Committee CITY HALL PHYSICAL SECURITY PROJECT UPDATE Chris Sternal, IT Manager, provided an updated on upgrading our physical security in City Hall. Mr. Sternal stated that this upgrade allows for more modern technology using the Genetic system which is currently implemented at the police station. He stated that new functionality will be added allowing the city to set door access policy such as automating the door open and lock schedule. This project allows for role-based security which means your role will specify what areas of the building you can access. Mr. Sternal also stated that this new security system allows the city to keep track of where employees have accessed. This is a budgeted project that will cost approximately $195,000. This was recommend for approval.
