NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION None EXTENSION OF INCENTIVE AGREEMENTS WITH SUPERMERCADOS EL GUERO DE JOLIET INC TMP-5647 Attachments: EDC Memo - El Guero - 041923 Mr. Cesar Suarez, Economic Development, Director, presented the incentive agreement between the City and El Guero Supermercado at 118 E. Jackson St. Councilmen Larry Hug questioned if agreement were to change from previous agreement due to the COVID pandemic. Mr. Suarez confirmed the terms were to be the same, just simply an extension of the agreement until 2024. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Hug and Councilman Clement Absent: Councilman Morris ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UPDATE Mr. Cesar Suarez, Economic Development, Director, went over current Economic Development news and updates over the past year. Items discussed were current projects that are ongoing, implementation of first budget, full staff, and goals and objectives for the future.
