City manager Beth Beatty added that you can Approve meeting minutes, it is based on the accuracy of the record not on personal knowledge of the events, of those approving them. A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by Councilman Cesar Cardenas, to approve Ordinance Amending Section 2-5 of the City of Joliet Code of Ordinances to Prohibit the Unauthorized Use of the City Seal and Emblems. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilwoman Hallums Quillman, Councilman Cardenas and Councilwoman Reardon Amendment to the Des Plaines River Valley Enterprise Zone TMP-8847 Intergovernmental Agreement Page 1 of 2 Legislative Committee Meeting Minutes - Final August 5, 2025 Amendment to the Des Plaines River Valley Enterprise Zone Intergovernmental Agreement Attachments: Ordinance.docx Exhibits.pdf Councilwoman Quillman explained the amendment pertains to a new development in the Enterprise Zone By Minnick Illinois LLC. She gave a brief overview of the amendment. A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by Councilman Cesar Cardenas, to approve Amendment to the Des Plaines River Valley Enterprise Zone Intergovernmental Agreement.
