The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Dillon, Kella, Cox, Crompton, Roehr, Rousonelos and Wunderlich Absent: Moore and Perez CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS This section is for anyone wanting to speak regarding agenda items and are allowed a maximum of 4 minutes. P-1-22: PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PALACIOS ESTATES SUBDIVISION, A MINOR SUBDIVISION. TMP-3438 Attachments: P-1-22 - Palacios Estates - Minor Sub_March Meeting_Staff Report Packet Mr. Torri gave the Planning Staff Report. Mr. Ildefonso Palacios appeared on behalf of the petition. Mr. Ildefonso found in his research that there are no covenants for the area subdivisions. Ms. Marlene Lewis, 2713 Hoberg Drive, appeared in opposition to the petition. Mr. Dan Heseltine, 2686 Hoberg Drive, appeared in opposition to the petition. Mr. Palacios stated he split the lot because maybe in the future he would build another home for his family. Right now he does not have any plans to do that. A motion was made by Brigette Roehr, seconded by Marc Rousonelos, to recommend for approval by the City Council the Preliminary Plat of Palacios Estates Subdivision, a Minor Subdivision. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Dillon, Kella, Cox, Roehr, Rousonelos and Wunderlich Nay: Crompton Absent: Moore and Perez A-1-22: ANNEXATION OF 8.47 ACRES EAST OF N.E. FRONTAGE ROAD, CLASSIFICATION TO I-1 (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) ZONING AND APPROVAL OF AN ANNEXATION AGREEMENT. TMP-3445 Attachments: A-1-22 - East of NE Frontage Road - Combined Plan Commission Staff Report Mr. Torri gave the Planning Staff Report. Mr. John Argoudelis, Attorney, appeared on behalf of the petition. Commissioner Roehr asked if the truck repair will be only for the trucks that are leased on the property or will they be for any trucks needing repair. Mr. Roland Rokus responded it will mainly be for the leased trucks but other trucks can go there for repairs as well. Chairman Dillon wanted to know what the hours of repair would be. Mr. Rokus responded. Commissioner Cox inquired about refrigeration trailers. Mr. Rokus responded. Mr. Steve Hines, resident of Deer Run Subdivision, appeared in opposition to the petition. Ms. Crystal Finch, resident of Deer Run Subdivision, appeared in opposition to the petition. Chairman Dillon requested all future traffic studies in advance of the meetings. A motion was made by Jeff Crompton, seconded by John Kella, to deny the Annexation of 8.47 Acres East of N.E. Frontage Road, Classification to I-1 (Light Industrial) Zoning and Approval of an Annexation Agreement. . TMP-3457 Attachments: A-3-22_419 High Street_Staff-Report_w-attachments Mr. Torri gave the Planning Staff Report. Staff appeared on behalf of the petition. No one appeared in opposition to the petition. A motion was made by John Kella, seconded by Brigette Roehr, to recommend for approval the Annexation of 0.14 Acres Located at 419 High Street, Classification to R2-A (Single-Family Residential) Zoning and Approval of an Annexation Agreement. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Dillon, Kella, Cox, Crompton, Roehr, Rousonelos and Wunderlich Absent: Moore and Perez A-4-22: ANNEXATION OF 46.2 ACRES LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF I-80 AND I-55, CLASSIFICATION TO B-2 (CENTRAL BUSINESS) ZONING AND APPROVAL OF AN ANNEXATION AGREEMENT.
