A motion was made by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, seconded by Councilwoman Suzanna Ibarra, to recommend for approval COUNCIL MEMO #TMP-8376: Purchase of G7C Handheld Monitors for the Joliet Fire Department from Conway Shield in the amount of $62,303.00. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Clement, Councilwoman Hallums Quillman and Councilwoman Ibarra Purchase of Nozzles for Frontline Fire Department Engines from TMP-8391 Air One Equipment, Inc. in the amount of $84,667.00 DC Stachelski briefly explains. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Clement, Councilwoman Hallums Quillman and Councilwoman Ibarra Purchase of Ballistic Helmets for SOS from Ray O’Herron in the TMP-8394 Amount of $ 48,087.00 Sgt. Prochaska briefly explains and shows helmet. Councilwoman Quillman asks about shield and sizes. Councilman Clement asks how many helmets are being purchased. Sgt. Prochaska answers. Chief Evans briefly explains that this purchase is well overdue.
