As of June 11, 2021, Governor Pritzker moved Illinois to Phase 5. Under Phase 5, all sectors of the economy can resume at
regular capacity with new safety guidelines and procedures.
In compliance with Center for Disease Control (CDC), it is recommended that any individual appearing in person wear a
face-covering to cover their nose and mouth.
Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments in advance of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov.

Mike Todorovic, Public Works Administrator, discussed the Contract for Eastern
Avenue / Washington Street Roadway Project, in the amount of $588,588.66, on
behalf of Austin-Tyler Construction Inc.
A motion was made by Councilman Morris, seconded by Councilwoman Gavin,
to recommend for approval by the full Council at the August 17, 2021 City
Council Meeting Contract Item No. ID-469-20.

Tony Anczer, Deputy Director of Engineering, discussed Change Order No. 1,
an increase in the amount of $168,436.03, on behalf of Performance Pipelining
Inc.
A motion was made by Councilman Morris, seconded by Councilwoman Gavin,
to recommend for approval by the full Council at the August 17, 2021 City
Council Meeting Change Orders/Pay Estimates/Final Payments Item No.
