Present Councilman Larry E. Hug, Councilwoman Bettye Gavin and
Councilman Terry Morris
Councilwoman Gavin is attending remotely.
ALSO PRESENT: Allison Swisher - Director of Public Utilities, Greg Ruddy - Director of
Public Works, and Tony Anczer - Deputy Director - Engineering.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Councilwoman Gavin, seconded by Councilman Morris, to approve the
Minutes of the March 14, 2022 Public Service Committee Meeting.
The motion carried by the following vote:

b. Professional Engineering Services Agreement for the TMP-3512
Eastside Wastewater Plant MCC Upgrades to Strand
Associates Inc. in the amount of $174,800.00
Allison Swisher, Director of Public Utilities, discussed the ESTP MCC upgrades,
in the amount of $174,800.00, on behalf of Strand Associates, Inc.
A motion was made by Councilwoman Gavin, seconded by Councilman Morris,
to recommend for approval by the full Council Contract Item No. TMP-3512.
The motion carried by the following vote:

Anthony Anczer, Deputy Director - Engineering, discussed Amendment No. 1 to
the Professional Services Agreement for the Commercial Water Service GIS
Mapping Project - Contract I, in the amount of $54,200.00. on behalf of
Ruettiger, Tonelli & Associates.
b. Change Order No. 4 for the 2021 Sanitary Sewer TMP-3514
Rehabilitation Program to Performance Pipelining Inc. in the
amount of ($13,390.99)
Anthony Anczer discussed Change Order No. 4 for the 2021 Sanitary Sewer
Rehabilitation Program, in the amount of ($13,390.99), on behalf of
Performance Pipelining Inc.
c. Payment for Emergency Repairs to the Black Road Lift TMP-3515
Station to Dahme Mechanical Industries, Inc. in the amount
of $40,285.00
Allison Swisher discussed the Payment for Emergency Repairs to the Black
Road Lift Station, in the amount of $40,285.00, on behalf of Dahme Mechanical
Industries, Inc.
A motion was made by Councilwoman Gavin, seconded by Councilman Morris,
to recommend for approval by the full Council Change Orders/Pay
Estimates/Final Payments Item No's TMP-3513, TMP-3514 and TMP-3515.
The motion carried by the following vote:

Allison Swisher, Director of Public Utilities, discussed the RFQ for an
independent review firm sought for the Alternative Water Source Program.
Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co Inc. was chosen by unanimous decision.
Final scope and fees are being worked on and will be presented at the April 19,
2022 meeting.
This item is not ready to be approved. This will be brought back to the next
meeting.
b. Report on Hydrant Repairs, Valves, Utilities Contracted ID-698-20
Services, and Water Main Breaks

Allison Swisher discussed the current report on Hydrant Repairs, Valves, Utilities
Contracted, and Water Main breaks as of March 25, 2022..
