ROLL CALL Present Councilman Pat Mudron, Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman and Councilman Cesar Guerrero ALSO PRESENT: Chris Regis - Deputy Corporation Counsel, Brent Fraser - Facilities Manager, John Wilson - Vice President of Sales and Marketing. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Approval of Minutes: `TMP-3505 Stadium Committee Meeting - January 19, 2022 Attachments: Stadium Committee - January 19, 2022.pdf A motion was made by Councilwoman Jan Quillman, seconded by Councilman Cesar Guerrero, to approve the Minutes of the January 19, 2022 Stadium Committee meeting. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilwoman Hallums Quillman and Councilman Guerrero CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS None. UPDATE ON MAINTENANCE / IMPROVEMENTS Brent Fraser, Facilities Manager, gave an update on plumbing repairs, floor surface repairs, leak repairs, rubber mulch at the playground, roof repairs, and backflow prevention . A brief discussion was held regarding the roof repair. SLAMMERS UPDATE John Wilson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing - Joliet Slammers, addressed the roof repairs. He highlighted upcoming events at the stadium, new streaming services, and new partnerships with local vendors and businesses. A brief discussion was held concerning the number of teams in the league, traveling team, and changes to decrease the length of the games and technology changes . DISCUSSION - SLAMMERS LEASE AGREEMENT Chris Regis, Deputy Corporation Counsel, recommended the contract negotiations be discussed in closed session. NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION Councilman Guerrero briefly discussed the use of the stadium. CLOSED SESSION A motion was made by Councilwoman Jan Quillman, seconded by Councilman Cesar Guerrero, to enter into closed session to discuss the setting of a price for lease of property owned by the public body.
