The Mayor and City Council welcome your attendance, public comment related to the items on the agenda and citizen participation on items under the jurisdiction of the City Council at this meeting. These proceedings are being video recorded as well as presented live on KCLV, Cable Channel 2. For possible action to approve a Restricted Gaming license for UNITED COIN MACHINE CO dba CENTURY GAMING TECHNOLOGIES db at 18 Bin at 107 East Charleston Boulevard, Suite 150 - Ward 3 (Diaz) ECONOMIC AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT - CONSENT 11. For possible action to approve a Fourth Amendment to Parking Lease Agreement between 217 LVB, LLC, and the City of Las Vegas (City) granting an extension of the term to the Parking Lease Agreement on a month-to- month basis regarding the management and operation of a parking lot located at 217 North Las Vegas Boulevard with the terms of the lease payments described in the Parking Lease Agreement (APN 139-34-515- 005) - Ward 3 (Diaz) 12. For possible action to approve a Parking Lease Agreement between Downtown CAC, LLC, (Landlord) and the City of Las Vegas (City) to manage and operate a parking lot located at 526 South Casino Center Boulevard with the terms of the lease payments described in the agreement (APN 139-34-311-049) - Ward 3 (Diaz) FINANCE - PURCHASING AND CONTRACTS - CONSENT 13. For possible action to approve award of Modification No. 4 to Agreement No. 180386-JL, Enhanced EPCR Software - Fire and Rescue Department - Award recommended to: IMAGETREND, LLC (Increase Amount Not- to-Exceed $48,850 Annually - General Fund) - All Wards 14. For possible action to approve award of Contract No. 23.MWA949.C1-SK-B, Construction Manager at Risk for DPS Unit 5 & 6 Restroom Addition, located at the Detention Center at 3300 Stewart Avenue - Department of Public Works - Award recommended to: SLETTEN CONSTRUCTION OF NEVADA, INC. ($10,000,000 - General Capital Projects Fund) - Ward 3 (Diaz) City Council January 3, 2024 - Page 2 FIRE AND RESCUE - CONSENT 15. For possible action to approve an agreement between the City of Las Vegas and the EMS Training Center of Southern Nevada for Emergency Medical Technician and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician training and certification, with the terms outlined in the agreement (Not to exceed $300,000 Annually - Various Funds) - All Wards MUNICIPAL COURT - CONSENT 16. For possible action to approve an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Las Vegas and Clark County, Nevada designating the County as the applicant and fiscal agent for purposes of administering the FFY2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program in the amount of $913,797, with an allocation to the City of $84,395 which will be used for some Municipal Court Special Court programs ($50,559), the West Las Vegas Arts Center ($30,336), and for grant administration which includes management and training ($3,500) - All Wards PUBLIC WORKS - CONSENT 17. For possible action to approve staff to acquire various real property rights for the Iron Mountain Road - Bradley Road to Decatur Boulevard Project - Ward 6 (Brune) and North Las Vegas 18. Bill No. 2023-30 - For possible action - Amends LVMC Title 14 to adopt a new chapter pertaining to the operation of the municipal cemetery. Bill No. 2023-28 - Amends LVMC Title 6 to add a new chapter pertaining to the licensing and regulation of sidewalk vendors, as authorized and directed by State law. Bill No. 2023-32 - Annexation No. 23-0400-ANX1 - Property location: Southwest corner of Bath Drive and Egan Crest Drive; Petitioned by: City of Las Vegas; Acreage: 1.67 acres; Zoned R-E and R-U (County Zoning), R-E (City Equivalent). Sponsored by: Councilwoman Francis Allen-Palenske COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT The items listed below, where appropriate, have been reviewed by the various City departments relative to the requirements for storm drainage and flood control, connection to sanitary sewer, traffic circulation, and Building and Fire regulations.
