City of Las Vegas Historic Property Register - Ward 5 (Crear)
7. 24-0028-HPC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness
application for the installation of an exhaust fan on the roof of the Historic Westside School, located at 330 West
Washington Avenue - Ward 5 (Crear)
8. 24-0038-HPC1 - Final report by Michael Ganson regarding the completion of the replacement of a residential
roof on property located at 1100 South 6th Street - Ward 3 (Diaz)
9. 24-0029-HPC1 - Report by the Public Works Department regarding updates and future plans for Strong Start
Academy, located at 320 South 9th Street - Ward 5 (Crear)
10. 24-0030-HPC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding amending the Memorandum of Understanding
between the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial and the Historic Preservation Commission to increase
the funding request to $150,000
11. 24-0031-HPC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of the submission of a grant request in the
amount of $150,000 to the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial to support a variety of historic
preservation initiatives led by the Historic Preservation Commission
12. 23-0637-HPC1 - ABEYANCE ITEM - Report by the Community Development Department regarding the
National Trust for Historic Preservation PastForward 2023 conference held in Washington, D.C.

16. Discussion regarding topics for future agenda items. Comments made during this portion of the agenda by
individual members shall refer solely to proposals for future agenda items and any discussion shall be limited to
whether or not such proposed item are within the purview of the Commission and/or whether such proposed
items shall be placed on a future agenda. No discussion regarding the substance of any such proposed topic
shall occur and no action shall be taken.
17. Citizens Participation: Public comment during this portion of the agenda must be limited to matters within the
jurisdiction of the Commission. No subject may be acted upon by the Commission unless that subject is on the
agenda and is scheduled for action. If you wish to be heard, come forward and give your name for the record.
