1. Call to Order – A quorum was present, and the meeting called to order by J. Knecht at 12:05 p.m.
Jan Logan was introduced as the new Lawton Pro Musica member group representative.
2. New Business
a) Opportunities. Sign-up sheets for festival volunteers were distributed, and board members were asked to bring
food items for the soiree.
3. Old Business
a) Fund Drive – A total of $19,485 was collected this year.
b) Priddy Foundation Grant. Site visit has been completed. The award announcement will be first part of June.
b) May Meeting Update. The May Board meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 27th.
c) Storage Room Cleanup. Clean up is progressing. One more clean up day will be scheduled.
d) Open Streets. Thanks to all the volunteers that participated.
4. Officer’s Reports
a) Motion by Z. Durant, second by J. Fritsch to accept the March minutes as written.
b) No treasurer’s report this month. S. Hatch is working on our account and will have a report in May. Schwab
account as on April 10th - $89,666.05
5. Report from the Executive Director
Quarterly reports are due on Friday, April 25th. Security system installation is complete. Festival T-shirts are on sale
for $25.
6. Committee Reports
a) Festival – Soiree will be Thursday, May 8th, Festival dates are May 9-11. A new ADA ramp will be installed by
the City before the festival. Shepler Park Galley is new and feature 8-10 artists that no longer show at festivals.
b) Gala – The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 27th at 5pm.
c) Summer Arts Institute. Over 1000 students enrolled. Life Ready Center will be 3rd-5th grade. Cleveland
Elementary will be Pre-K thru 2nd. Field trips are scheduled with the last day, June 26th being a day of
presentation for parents.
