Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, April 24, 2015 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 7:05 a.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, William Dunne Vice Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Guests: Fire Chief, Paul DiRienzo Police Chief, Raymond Byrne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to approve the minutes from the regular meeting on March 27, 2015. Motion carried. D. Public Participation None. E. Payment of Bills The Board received invoice #85161 from Elmhurst Memorial Occupational Health for medical screening for police candidate in the amount of $1200; and invoice #85359 in the amount of $810.00 for medical screening for a firefighter candidate; invoice #29077 from the Lombardian newspaper for a publication of legal notice in the amount of $33.25; invoice #27888 from Stanard & Associates in the amount of $790.00 for personality evaluations for 2 police candidates; invoice #27899 from Stanard & Associates in the amount of $5,685.35 for Fire Lieutenant Promotional Assessment process; invoice #27983 from Stanard & Associates in the amount of $5,739.64 for Fire Battalion Chief Promotional Assessment process and Assessor fees. It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to approve payment of the bills. Motion carried. Correspondence The Board received correspondence from Chief Ray Byrne for The Board to sign Certificate of Appointments for 2 police candidates; a memorandum from Fire Lt. Doug Cail regarding a verbal reprimand to a firefighter/paramedic; and a memorandum from Fire Lt. Frank Gallione regarding a written verbal reprimand to a firefighter/paramedic. J. Unfinished Business It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to approve the Final Battalion Chief Eligibility List. Motion carried. K. New Business L. Other Business M. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to break to Executive Session at 7:25 a.m. Motion carried. Reconvene The regular meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioner reconvened at 7:33 a.m. Present: Chairman, William Dunne Vice Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Guests: Police Chief, Raymond Byrne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to deny conditional offers of employment to two police candidates (Brian Esmon and Matthew Shannahan). Motion carried. O.
