Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, May 20, 2016, meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 4:23 p.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 235 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, William Dunne Vice Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Guests: Chief of Police, Raymond Byrne Assistant Fire Chief, Jerry Howell Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski, to approve the minutes from the special meeting on May 6, 2016. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence The Board received a memorandum from Village Manager, Scott Niehaus authorizing the hiring of 1 firefighter. Reconvene It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to deny background checks on 4 police candidates. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to move forward with background checks for police candidate, Kyle Corbett and firefighter candidates, Kyle Straughn, Robert Blockinger, and Alex Putz. Motion carried. O.
