Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, October 26, 2018 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 7:45 a.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence The Board received 2 Certificate of Appointments for police officers, Andrew Boccassini and Adam Bruce completing their probationary period and appointing them police officers. The Board received a copy of a letter of appreciation from Trustee, Bill Ware to Fire Chief Rick Sander thanking him and his paramedics for the services they provided to his family. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn to executive session at 7:49 a.m. Motion carried. N. Reconvene The regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 7:55 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend a final offer of employment to police candidate, Cory Cairo. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend a final offer of employment to firefighter/paramedic candidate, Joel Montiel.
