A. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance
The Friday, January 25, 2019 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and
Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Lombard Village
Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148.
B. Roll Call of Members

Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey

Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert

C. Approval of Minutes
It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice
Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve the minutes from the Regular
Meeting on October 26, 2018, the Regular Meeting on December 21,
2018 and the Special Meeting on January 11, 2019. Motions carried.
D. Public Participation
E. Payment of Bills
The Board received Invoice# 3167 from Conrad Polygraph in the amount
of $640.00 for polygraphs for 4 firefighter candidates; Invoice# 3214 from
Conrad Polygraph in the amount of $1120.00 for polygraphs for 6 police
candidates; and Invoice#SA000039091 from Stanard & Associates in
the amount of $395.00 for a personality evaluation of a firefighter
candidate; Invoice #SA000039090 from Stanard & Associates in the
amount of $790.00 for personality evaluations for 2 police candidates. It
was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice
Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve payment of all bills. Motion
carried.

I. Correspondence
The Board received an Certificate of Appointment for probationary police
candidate Cory Cairo.
J. Unfinished Business
Fire Chief Rick Sander apprised the Board of firefighter testing process.
January 12th was the written and orientation. 112 candidates attended.
84 passed the written test. The oral interviews are scheduled for week of
January 28.
K. New Business
It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by
Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to approve the final offer of employment
to police lateral candidate, Abigail Lauer. Motion carried.

It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice
Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn the regular meeting of the Lombard
Board of Fire and Police Commissioners at 8:07 a.m. Motion carried.
