Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Wednesday, July 3, 2019 special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:05 a.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence J. Unfinished Business K. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn to executive session at 8:07 a.m. Motion carried. N. Reconvene The meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:14 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to promote firefighter/paramedic Chris Brasile to Fire Lieutenant. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to send a denial letter of employment to firefighter/paramedic candidate, Zachary Wright, a final offer of employment to firefighter/paramedic candidate Michael Lurquin and a conditional offer of employment to firefighter/paramedic candidate Lawrence Mathies.
