Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Thursday, July 25, 2019 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve the minutes from the regular meeting on June 21, 2019. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve the minutes from the special meeting on July 3, 2019. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#SA000041296 from Stanard & Associates in the amount of $395.00 for a personality evaluation for a police candidate; Invoice#3412 from Conrad Polygraph in the amount of $640.00 and Invoice#3490 in the amount of $160.00 for polygraph examinations for police and fire candidates; Invoice#00100264 from Elmhurst Occupational Health in the amount of $732.00 for a police candidate medical testing and Invoice#00100265 in amount of $1,288.00 for fire candidates medical testing. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve payment of all bills. Motion carried. Correspondence The Board received a copy of a memorandum from Village Manager, Scott Niehaus authorizing the hiring of 2 police officers. J. Unfinished Business The Board will move discussions of the changes to the Board of Fire and Police Rules and Regulations to a later date. K. New Business L. Other Business M. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn to executive session at 8:06 a.m. Motion carried. Reconvene The meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:21 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to send a denial letter to police candidate, Nayelli Perez and firefighter/paramedic candidate, Michael Fairfield. Motion carried. O.
