Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, October 25, 2019 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve the minutes from the regular meeting on September 27, 2019 and the special meeting on October 10, 2019. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#3534 from Conrad Polygraph in the amount of $160.00 for a polygraph examination for a police candidate; Invoice#00106278 from Elmhurst Occupational Health in the amount of $732.00 for a police candidate medical testing and Invoice#107744 in the amount of $870.00 for a firefighter candidate medical testing; Invoice#SA000042063 in the amount of $790.00 for personality testing for 2 police candidates; and Invoice#SA000042064 in the amount of $395.00 for personality testing for a firefighter candidate. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve payment of all bills. Motion carried. Correspondence The Board received a copy of a memorandum from Village Manager, Scott Niehaus authorizing the hiring of a police officer, a police sergeant and a police lieutenant; also received a copy of a memorandum from Village Manager, Scott Niehaus authorizing the hiring of a firefighter/paramedic. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to adjourn to executive session at 8:05 a.m. Motion carried. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to extend a final offer of employment to firefighter/paramedic candidate, Cary Rogde. Motion carried.
