Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Wednesday, December 4, 2019 special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8 a.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence J. New Business It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to promote firefighter/paramedic, Alex Johnson to Firefighter Lieutenant. Motion carried. L. Other Business M. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn to executive session at 8:05 a.m. Motion carried. Reconvene The meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:20 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend a final offer of employment to firefighter/paramedic, Michael Batiz. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to send denial letters of employment to police candidates, Steven Kmiecik, David Nam and Albert Grzyb. Motion carried. O. N. Reconvene Final offer of employment for a firefighter/paramedic candidate. Conditional offer(s) of employment for police candidates.
