Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, September 25, 2020 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 7:30 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve the Special Meeting on September 3, 2020. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#212149 from Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins in the amount of $330.00 for attendance at the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners meeting on July 10; Invoice#00124843-00 from Elmhurst Occupational Health in the amount of $3,054.00 for 3 police candidates medical testing for new employment. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve payment of all bills. Motion carried. Correspondence The Board signed the Certificate of Appointment for Probationary Police Officer Shijuanna Balles. J. Unfinished Business K. New Business It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve the Initial Police Lieutenant and Police Sergeant Promotional Lists. Motion carried. There is a tentative date for the entry-level firefighter candidate eligibility testing process on January 23, 2021. Fire Chief Sander mentioned a couple options regarding the testing process. IOS Solutions handling the testing process virtually or if in person it would be 2 groups of 50 and candidates will take the test at 2 different times. More information to follow at a later date. L.
