A. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance
The Friday, August 27, 2021 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and
Police Commissioners convened at 8:04 a.m. in the Village of Lombard
Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148.
B. Roll Call of Members
Present:
Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski
Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey
Guests:
Fire Chief, Rick Sander
Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert
Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York
Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship
C. Approval of Minutes
It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by
Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to approve the minutes from the special
meeting on July 14, 2021 and the special meeting on August 4, 2021.
Motion carried.
D. Public Participation
E. Payment of Bills
The Board received Invoice#4500 in the amount of $320.00 from Conrad
Polygraph for 2 polygraphs for firefighter/paramedic candidates; and two
invoices from Elmhurst Occupational Health in the amount of $115.00
and $140.00. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey,
seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to approve payment of all
bills. Motion carried.

It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by
Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to extend final offers of employment to
firefighter/paramedic candidates Christian Ruhl, Ryan Carlson and
Dalton Huftel. Motion carried.

Fire Chief Rick Sander talked about their upcoming Citizen's Fire
Academy beginning September 8th and the September 11th ceremony
to be held in the Village Hall fan lot.

It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey seconded by Chairman,
Thomas Rachubinski to adjourn the regular meeting of the Lombard
Board of Fire and Police Commissioners at 8:08 a.m. Motion carried.
