Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Thursday, May 12, 2022 Special Meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:03 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Secretary, Kyle Dolan, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve the minutes from the Special Meeting on March 10, 2022, Special Meeting on April 1, 2022 and Special Meeting on April 22, 2022. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#4970 in the amount of $320.00 from Conrad Polygraph for polygraphs for 2 firefighter candidates; and Invoice#C53196A in the amount of $1704.00 from IOS Solutions for firefighter entry level application and testing process. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve payment of both bills. Motion carried. F. Correspondence The Board received a copy of 2 memorandums from Fire Chief, Rick Sander regarding written reprimands for 2 firefighters and a memorandum from Fire Chief, Rick Sander regarding the suspension of a firefighter. J. Unfinished Business K. New Business It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to promote Police Officer, Tom Balsitis to Police Sergeant. Motion carried. L. Other Business M. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to convene to executive session at 8:08 a.m. Motion carried. Reconvene The Special Meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:35 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend conditional offers of employment to police candidates Kinga Stanek, Jonathan Sanchez, Sabrina Hernandez, Joseph Jacobo and Trevino Fukar. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to send denial letters of employment to police candidates, Jonathan Pantoja, Solomon Ing, Juan Garcia, Nicholas Kellerhals and firefighter/paramedic candidate Ryan Moeller. Motion carried. O.
