Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Wednesday, April 5, 2023 Special Meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Police Chief, Tom Wirsing Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Chief, Ray Kickert Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence J. Unfinished Business It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to approve the 2023 Final Firefighter/Paramedic Eligibility List. Motion carried. Executive Session It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to adjourn to executive session at 8:06 a.m. Motion carried. N. Reconvene The Special Meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:13 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Police Chief, Tom Wirsing Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Chief, Ray Kickert Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to approve the 2023 Lombard Fire Department Final Eligibility List. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend conditional offers of employment to police candidates, Nico Diaz, Leonardo Gonzalez, Desire Jimenez and Diana Jimenez. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to send denial letters of employment to police candidates, Juan Garcia, Monica Daugherty, Eric Gurrister, Cristi Madam and Malcohm Frenzel.
