Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, April 14, 2023 special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Tom Wirsing Deputy Chief, Joe Grage Fire Chief, Rick Sander Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#C56248A in the amount of $2,253.00 from IOS Solutions for the firefighter entry-level testing process. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve payment of invoice. Motion carried. F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. New Business The Board decided that they would like to choose the interviews questions for the upcoming Fire Lieutenant testing process. L. Other Business M. Executive Session It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to adjourn to executive session at 8:06 a.m. Motion carried. N. Reconvene The Special Meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:18 a.m. Present: Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Tom Wirsing Deputy Chief, Joe Grage Fire Chief, Rick Sander Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to extend conditional offers of employment to police candidates, Martin Hopman, Andrei Dublea, Bright Osazuwa and Justin Nguyen. Motion carried. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to send denial letters of employment to police candidates, Hyengi Lee, Kelvin Mendez, Evan Leonard and Nathan Boyd.
