Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Thursday, July 20, 2023 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Chief, Benny Ranallo Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve the minutes from the regular meeting on May 25, 2023, special meeting on June 1, 2023 and regular meeting on June 22, 2023. Motion carried. D. Public Participation Village of Lombard Page 1 Board of Fire and Police Minutes - Final July 20, 2023 Commissioners E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#SA000054816 from Stanard & Associates in the amount of $450.00 for a personality evaluation for a police candidate; Invoice#SA000054817 from Stanard & Associates in the amount of $1,350.00 for personality evaluations for 3 firefighter candidates; Invoice#10891 from COPS and FIRE Personnel Testing in the amount of $900.00 for personality evaluations for 2 police candidates; Invoice#5605 from Conrad Polygraph in the amount of $180.00 for a polygraph examination for a police candidate; and Invoice#234103 from Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins in the amount of $1,127.00 for revising rules and regulations for the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners and review fire promotions. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve payment of all bills. Motion carried. F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence The Chairman of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, Thomas Rachubinski received a copy of a memorandum from Village Manager, Scott Niehaus regarding the authorization to proceed with promoting a fire lieutenant and a copy of a retirement notice from Fire Lieutenant Chris Brasile. New Business It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve the promotion of Firefighter Christopher Wilmot to Fire Lieutenant. Motion carried. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to extend a final offers of employment to police candidates, Dominik Wojs, Jack Zumpano and Tomasz Brodzik.
