Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Wednesday, April 3, 2024 special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Police Chief, Tom Wirsing Police Deputy Chief, Benny Ranallo Fire Chief, Rick Sander Fire Deputy Chief, George Hyland Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence J. Unfinished Business K. Executive Session It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to adjourn to executive session at 8:03 a.m. Motion carried. N. Reconvene The special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:10 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Police Chief, Tom Wirsing Police Deputy Chief, Benny Ranallo Fire Chief, Rick Sander Fire Deputy Chief, George Hyland Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to extend a final offer of employment to police officer candidate, Veronica Suarez. Motion carried. It was moved by Vice Chairman, seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to extend conditional offers of employment to firefigher/paramedic candidates, John Horn and Justin Kirincich.
