Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Thursday, September 12, 2024 special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Fire Chief, Rick Sander Fire Deputy Chief, Nathan Gac Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence J. Unfinished Business K. Executive Session It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to adjourn to executive session at 8:06 a.m. N. Reconvene The special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:10 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Fire Chief, Rick Sander Fire Deputy Chief, Nathan Gac Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship The Board agreed to move forward with the background investigation on a firefighter/paramedica. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend a final offer of employment to firefighter/paramedic candidate, Leo Gonzalez. Motion carried. O.
