The motion passed by unanimous vote. 5.0 Other Business 160085 Long Range Planning (LRP) Long Range Budget Planning Discussion Village of Lombard Page 1 Community Relations Committee Minutes March 14, 2016 Tim Sexton presented the Village of Lombard’s Long Range Budget Plan as prepared by the Finance Department and approved by the Village’s Finance Committee. The presentation included a PowerPoint presentation that proposed budget restrictions and potential solutions recommended by the Finance Committee. 6.0 Old Business 130274 Youth Leadership Program Reminder that the Youth Leadership Program is approaching. Avis Meade will hand out flyers for posting and ask that the Community Relations Committee distribute the flyers for additional feedback. An update of the number students currently enrolled in the program will be given. Avis Meade handed out flyers to promote the Youth Leadership Program. 160025 Senior Taxi Program Review of the recommendation from the Finance Administration Committee on the budgetary restrictions required for 2017, as they relate to the future of the Senior Taxi Program. The Finance and Administration Committee proposed the potential dissolution of the Senior Taxi Program as a result of Long Term Budget Deficit. 7.0 New Business None. 8.0 Information Only Communications Reports (Media Snapshot) will continue to be delivered at future meetings. 9.0 Adjournment A motion was made by Pam Bedard, seconded by Sharon Vish, to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 p.m. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
