Roll Call Present 8 - Robyn Pike, Pamela Bedard, Ahmed Ali, Barb Ware, Gladys Piper, Michael Ledonne, Anthony Pacilli and Dan Militello Absent 1 -Sharon Vish Also present: Avis Meade, staff liaison 3.0 Public Participation None. 4.0 Approval of Minutes A motion as made by Michael Ledonne, seconded by Gladys Piper, to approve the minutes of the January 14, 2019, committee meeting. The motion was approved by unanimous vote. Village of Lombard Page 1 Community Relations Committee Minutes March 11, 2019 5.0 Old Business 190064 2019 Youth Leadership Program The 2019 Youth Leadership Program did not reach its minimum number of students required (10) and was therefore cancelled. The Committee will consider the structure of future programs. The Youth Leadership Program was not held in February due to a lack of minimum interest. The Committee will reconsider the program for the 2020 session. 6.0 New Business 190129 Senior Fair 2019 The Village's Senior Fair will take place on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Staff will review the location options and the new vendor fees. Staff informed the committee that the 2019 Senior Fair will take place at the Madison Athletic Center. 190130 Lilac Time Photo Contest 2019 To celebrate Lombard's Sesquicentennial, the photo contest will include a retrospective category. The Committee will provide recommendations for categories. The Committee reviewed the 2019 Lilac Time Photo Contest categories. 7.0 Other Business None. 8.0 Information Only Staff shared upcoming 150th Anniversary events with the Committee. 9.0 Adjournment A motion was made by Michael Ledonne, seconded by Dan Militello, to adjourn the meeting at 7:18 p.m. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
