Village Hall Village of Lombard 255 East Wilson Ave. Lombard, IL 60148 villageoflombard.org Minutes Downtown TIF District Joint Review Board Meeting Wednesday, September 9, 2015 10:00 AM Village Hall - Community Room 1.0 Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance Call to order by Village President Keith Giagnorio at 10:00 a.m 2.0 Roll Call of Joint Review Board Members The following Joint Review Board members were present: Keith Giagnorio (Village President, Village of Lombard), Paul Lauricella (DuPage County), Chris McClain (District 87), Michael Mariani (York Township Supervisor) and John Dillon (Public Member). Also in attendance: William J. Heniff, AICP, Director of Community Development; Jennifer Ganser, Assistant Director of Community Developmen, and Tim Sexton, Director of Finance, Village of Lombard. 3.0 Public Participation There was no public participation. 4.0 Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Keith Giagnorio, seconded by Chris McClain, to approve the minutes of the August 19, 2014 meeting. The motion passed by unanimous consent of the members present. 5.0 Appoint Citizen Member A motion was made by Keith Giagnorio, seconded by Chris McClain, to appoint John Dillon as Citizen Member. The motion passed by unanimous consent of the members present. 6.0 Unfinished Business There was no unfinished business. 7.0 New Business Village of Lombard Page 1 Downtown TIF District Joint Review Minutes September 9, 2015 Board Meeting Ms. Ganser noted this report is for fiscal year 2014 and reviewed the report. Land was purchased by the Village using TIF funds at 7 E. St Charles Rd for Metra parking expansion. The TIF also spent money on funding for Lombard Town Centre, the Mueller Memorial Gazebo, and a market study for 101 S. Main Street. Grants were applied for in 2014, but not payable into 2015. Mr. Heniff said that discussions on 101 S. Main Street could continue and any redevelopment would go back to the TIF. The Hammerschmidt parking expansion will also incur costs from the Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Mr. Heniff noted that the vacant lot at Grove & Park is slated for six single family homes and engineering is underway. No incentives were offered and staff estimates about $54,000 in TIF dollars. 8.0 Other Business There was no other business. 9.0 Information Only 10.
