Amount is not to exceed $1,000. Motion: Lt. Sepe Ayes: 6 Nays: 0 Abstention: 1 FF/PM Bruce Logsdon is currently on the Committee to research recliners for Station 45. He spoke with the Board on the decision made by the Committee to purchase the Highwood lay-flat leather recliners from Carson Pirie Scott in Lombard. He will double-check with the store on adding a warranty for the recliners. The manufacturer does not offer a commercial warranty. A motion was made to purchase recliners and not to exceed a total of $13,000. Motion: FF/PM Scholz Seconded: Lt. Volz Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 Motion carried 6.0 New Business · FF/PMs Scholz and Hillesheim will research to purchase stream-light flashlights for the department. · Lt. Volz and B/C Greene will look into gear rack system for Station 44. This will be possible for the 2019 budget with a 50/50 split. · Will review Open Meetings Act - scheduling and cancelling meetings. Village of Lombard Page 2 Foreign Fire Tax Board Minutes - Final May 9, 2017 7.0 Other Business Chief Sander discussed the Foreign Fire Board being issued a credit card for purchases in place of using the Chiefs’ cards. · Village Manager approves as long as the Board agrees to Village of Lombard’s rules on the use of Procurement Cards. · Lieutenant currently on the Board will be responsible for card and purchases made. A motion to accept and follow the Village of Lombard’s Procurement Card Policy was made. Motion: Lt.
