Eileen Mueller led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call Present 5 - Jack Jones, Marcy Novak, Tom Fetters, Eileen Mueller, and Jennifer Henaghan Also present: Rita Schneider and Tami Urish, staff liaison. Approval of Minutes The minutes of the April 5, 2016 meeting were approved with no changes by Commissioner Fetters. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Novak. All were in favor, the motion passed. Unfinished Business 130270 Chicago, Aurora and Elgin Railroad/ Prairie Path Discussion relative to Commemorative Signage. Commissioner Mueller stated that she was not able to coordinate a review of the signs by Red Caffeine. The Committee members agreed to remove the text between Lombard Historic Site and the name of the stations with “Chicago, Aurora and Elgin Railway” below each of the station names. The Committee members agreed to include a purple dot or image over the black dot for each corresponding station on the Village of Lombard Page 1 Lombard Historical Commission Minutes April 19, 2016 call out box associated with the map. Commissioner Fetters reiterated that the social media acronym is in need of correction as indicated at the April 5th meeting. Committee members discussed the background options as presented by staff and selected the solid purple background with the lilac floral border on the side edges. Staff was directed to include revisions and send copies to the Committee members. The Committee discussed the photo quality, resolution and copyright concerns. Commissioner Schneider stated that she had an update on the photo for the Main Street Station that is considered in the public domain from the Library of Congress that her request is in their que to be reviewed. Commissioner Mueller stated that she would call her contact, Carl, at the Strahorn Library - Illinois Railway Museum to follow up on their photographs. New Business No new business was discussed.
