Gerhardt Community Room 1.0 Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance 2.0 Roll Call 3.0 Public Participation 4.0 Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Jerry Schaefer, seconded by John Larkin, Jr., that the Minutes of the November 2, 2015 meeting be approved. The motion carried unanimously. 5.0 Unfinished Business Glenview Avenue Stop Sign and Speed Limit Reduction Request A resident request to install a Stop sign at the intersection of Glenview and Eugenia and to lower the speed limit on Glenview to 25 mph. (DISTRICT #1) A motion was made by Jerry Schaefer, seconded by John Larkin, Jr., that this Request be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval. The motion passed by an unanimous vote. Yield Sign Replacement A discussion regarding the prior committee recommendation to install Stop signs at the intersection of Harrison and Norbury. (DISTRICT #6) A motion was made by Gary Cation, seconded by Jerry Schaefer, that this Request be tabled. The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 6.0 New Business Vehicle Immobilization/Parking Ticket Scofflaw Measures Village of Lombard Page 1 Public Safety & Transportation Meeting Minutes December 7, 2015 Committee A recommendation from the Police Department to relaunch vehicle immobilization. Child Safety Seat Program Sustainability A report from the Police Department addressing the Department's Child Safety Seat Program needs. A motion was made by Jerry Schaefer, seconded by Gary Cation, that this Request be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval. The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 7.0 Other Business 8.0 Information Only Fire Department Reports/Information Police Department Reports/Information 9.0 Adjournment A motion was made by Gary Cation, seconded by John Larkin, Jr., that there being no further business, the meeting be adjourned at 7:41 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
