Asked John Kaforski to Chair this meeting. Meeting called to order by Chairperson Kaforski at 7:01 PM. 2.0 Roll Call Present 4 - Arthur Kuehl, John Kaforski, Mark Dvorak, and Joe Glazier Jr. Absent 3 - Mike Kuderna, David Arnold, and Robert Bachner 3.0 Public Participation NONE 4.0 Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Joe Glazier, Jr., seconded by Arthur Kuehl that the minutes be approved. The motion carried by an unanimous vote. 5.0 Unfinished Business 6.0 New Business 160443 Village Standard Lighting Policy Recommendation of staff to approve the amendments to the Village Standard Lighting Policy. Goldsmith: reviewed this item with the committee members present. Discussion ensued regarding the changes to the policy. A motion was made by Arthur Kuehl, seconded by Mark Dvorak, that this Request be recommended to the Board of Trustees for Approval . The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 160456 Hammerschmidt Parking Lot Extension, Final Balancing Change Order No. 1 Reflecting an increase to the contract with KEE Construction in the amount of $32,124.07. (DISTRICT #4) Goldsmith: reviewed the change order with the committee members present. Discussion ensued regarding the additional contaminated soil that had to be removed and the additional stone used to fill these excavated areas. The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 7.0 Ratification 160405 Transmission Main, Change Order No. 2 Reflecting an increase to the contract with Swallow Construction in the amount of $27,244.77. (DISTRICT #6) A motion was made by Joe Glazier, Jr., seconded by Arthur Kuehl, to ratify this item. The motion carried by an unanimous vote. 8.0 Other Business Kaforski: asked Goldsmith about the manhole on Finley near Madison. Goldsmith: did have someone check this. Will get the info to you. Discussion ensued regarding the Hill Street Bridge. Goldsmith gave an update to the committee members present regarding the Mariano's project and the Finley Rd./Roosevelt Rd. intersection road improvements. 9.0 Information Only 160460 SL-RAT Acoustic Pipeline Monitoring & Assessment Project Staff recommendation that the Public Works Committee support this technology and future program when presented to the Village Board in 2017. A motion was made by Joe Glazier, Jr., seconded by Mark Dvorak, that this Request be tabled . The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 10.
