(Trustee Ware not in attendance) 2.0 Roll Call Present 7 - Arthur Kuehl, John Kaforski, Mark Dvorak, Mike Kuderna, Joe Glazier Jr., Robert Bachner, and Allen Hennig Absent 1 - David Arnold 3.0 Public Participation Dan Harris, 225-253 St. Charles Rd., Lombard. Has concerns about the Snow Clearing Regulations. 4.0 Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Mike Kuderna, seconded by Joe Glazier, Jr., that this be approved . (DISTRICTS - ALL) A Motion was made by John Kaforski, seconded by Allen Hennig, that this Resolution be approved. The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 180400 Tree Removal, Change Order No. 1 Resolution reflecting an increase to the contract with Homer Tree Care, Inc. in the amount of $10,000.00. (DISTRICTS - ALL) A Motion was made by John Kaforski, seconded by Allen Hennig, that this resolution be approved. The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 180401 Text Amendments to Chapter 97 of the Village Code - Snow Clearing Regulations Staff is forwarding the proposed regulations to the PW/ECC for Village of Lombard Page 1 Public Works & Environmental Minutes September 11, 2018 Concerns consideration and a recommendation to the Village Board for approval of the proposed amendments to Chapter 97 of the Village Code pertaining to snow clearing obligations. (DISTRICTS - All) This item taken out of order due to resident in attendance. Goldsmith: Community Development staff proposed the code amendments to Chapter 97 of the Village Code. Goldsmith reviewed the amendments. Discussion ensued. Goldsmith: the amendments were shared with the Lombard Town Center and the Lombard Chamber - they had no issues. Mr. Harris: my concern is the snow at the corner of Elizabeth and St. Charles Rd. Also, Walgreens is pushing their snow out of their lot onto the curb and sidewalk across from their business. Goldsmith: if the snow on a corner is excessive, we will provide assistance. A motion was made by Mike Kuderna, seconded by Mark Dvorak, that this Ordinance be tabled to the October 9, 2018 PW/ECC meeting. The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 7.0 Other Business Discussion ensued regarding Roosevelt Rd. project. Kaforski: see that we are cutting down a lot of Maple trees again. Why, how many have we removed, and what is the schedule for replacement? Goldsmith: will bring information to the next meeting. Goldsmith: gave committee an update on Westmore/Meyers construction. 8.0 Information Only 9.0 Adjournment A Motion was made by John Kaforski, seconded by Mike Kuderna to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 PM.
