Gerhardt Community Room Public Works & Environmental Concerns Trustee Bill Ware - Chairperson Trustee Dan Whittington - Alternate Chairperson Art Kuehl, John Kaforski, Mark Dvorak, Mike Kuderna, David Arnold, Robert Bachner, Joe Glazier & Allen Hennig Staff Liaison: Public Works & Environmental Minutes September 8, 2020 Concerns 1.0 Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance Meeting called to order by Chairperson Ware at 7:00 PM. 2.0 Roll Call Scott Niehaus, Village Manager Trustee Reid Foltyniewicz in attendance representing the Finance Committee Present 8 - Bill Ware, Arthur Kuehl, John Kaforski, Mark Dvorak, David Arnold, Joe Glazier Jr., Robert Bachner, and Allen Hennig Absent 1 - Mike Kuderna 3.0 Public Participation 4.0 Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Joe Glazier, Jr., seconded by Robert Bachner, that these minutes be approved . The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 5.0 Unfinished Business 6.0 New Business 200260 FY 2020 and 2021 Budget Projections Chairperson Ware introduced Trustee Foltyniewicz, Chairperson of the Finance Committee to the committee members. Foltyniewicz gave an overview of why the Finance Committee likes all committees to review the Budget. Discussion ensued regarding income from gaming machines in town. Trustee Foltyniewicz commented that there are so many more pressing issues that he is not concerned about the gaming issue right now. Foltyniewicz asked Niehaus to present the Budget Update. Niehaus presented the Budget Update to the committee members present. Discussion ensued regarding COVID and what would happen if it went away in the next few months. Niehaus continued presentation. Discussion ensued in regard to Marijuana Dispensary and money it could generate. The committee members thanked Trustee Foltyniewicz and Village Manager Niehaus for the presentation. Village of Lombard Page 1 Public Works & Environmental Minutes September 8, 2020 Concerns 200277 2019 Sewer Lining, Final Balancing Change Order No. 1 Reflecting an increase to the contract with Hoerr Construction, LLC, in the amount of $11,697.55. (DISTRICTS - ALL) Goldsmith reviewed the change order with the committee members present. A motion was made by David Arnold, seconded by John Kaforski, that this item be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval.
