II Pledge of Allegiance Deputy Village Clerk Janet Downer led the Pledge of Allegiance. III Roll Call Present 5 - Keith Giagnorio, Dan Whittington, Mike Fugiel, Reid Foltyniewicz, and Laura Fitzpatrick Absent 3 - Sharon Kuderna, Peter Breen, and Bill Ware Trustee Peter Breen arrived at 7:04 a.m. Staff Present: Village Manager David Hulseberg Director of Community Development Bill Heniff Director of Public Works Carl Goldsmith Assistant Village Manager Nicole Aranas Deputy Village Clerk Janet Downer Executive Coordinator Carol Bauer IV Public Participation V Agenda B. Resolution Authorizing the Signature of the Village President on a Request for an Amendatory Veto of House Bill 1522 to the Governor of Illinois (this item has been removed from the agenda) A. 130357 DuPage County Public Hearing Z13-040: Ken Loch Golf Course Resolution of Objection to a request to DuPage County to grant a rezoning of the property from the R4 Single Family Residence District to the R6 General Residence District for the property commonly known as the Ken Loch Golf Course. (UNINCORPORATED) Village of Lombard Page 1 Special Meeting Board of Trustees Minutes July 26, 2013 Deputy Village Clerk Janet Downer read a letter from Trustee Ware that he asked be read into the minutes as follows: July 25, 2013 President Keith Giagnorio Village of Lombard 255 E. Wilson Lombard, IL 60148 Dear President Giagnorio: I have a previous commitment and will not be able to attend the Special Village Board Meeting scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2013 beginning at 7:00 a.m. By copy of this letter, I want to relay that I support the item listed on the agenda and would vote for its passage. 130357 - DuPage County Public Hearing Z13-040 Ken Loch Golf Course; and I would ask that the Village Clerk read my letter at the meeting so it is included in the official meeting minutes. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions. Very truly yours, Bill Ware Village Trustee - District #6 Trustee Fitzpatrick questioned if this letter would be included in the vote. Manager Hulseberg indicated it would not. A motion was made by Trustee Reid Foltyniewicz, seconded by Trustee Dan Whittington, that this Resolution be adopted.
