provide contributions of:
• $890 to Bluff Heights Neighborhood Association for their Earth Day Event
on April 21st, 2024;
• $650 to Flamin Curry for Catering services at the Ramadan Iftar Celebration
on April 2nd, 2024;
• $2,000 to the St. Mary Medical Center Foundation for their Easter Walk on
March 31st, 2024;
• $1,000 to Long Beach Disability Pride for their 3rd Annual Long Beach

total amount not to exceed $10,000 for a period of one year;
Increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager
Department by $10,000, offset by the Third Council District One-time District
Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide
funding for the Lights, Cameras, No Action Pilot Program, to be administered by

Initiative;
2. $3,000 to St. Joseph Catholic Church in support of their annual community
fair;
3. $2,000 to Partners of Park in support of El Dorado Park Estates
Neighborhood Association’s community efforts and participation in the

the provision of furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E) at City of Long Beach
leased office space at 4900 Airport Plaza Drive, Suite 110, and 4910 Airport Plaza
Drive, Suite 215 (Subject Property), on the same terms and conditions afforded to
the Judicial Council of California (JCOC), in an amount of $494,102, authorize a 10
percent contingency in the amount of $49,410, for a total contract amount not to
exceed $543,512, until the JCOC contract expires on August 31, 2025, with the
option to renew for as long as the JCOC contract is in effect, at the discretion of
the City Manager;
24-52986 Adopt resolution authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute a contract, and
any necessary documents, including any necessary subsequent amendments, with

percent contingency in the amount of $12,480, for a total contract amount not to
exceed $137,280, for a period of one year, with the option to renew for one
additional one-year period, at the discretion of the City Manager; and
Increase appropriations in the Employee Benefits Fund Group by $139,923 and
Insurance Fund Group by $193,227 in the Human Resources Department, to allow
the City to purchase medical imaging equipment, FF&E, and pay for excess
Tenant Improvement costs at the Subject Property, offset by funds available.

amount not to exceed $360,000 for a period of two years, with the option to renew
for three additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager; and,
authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter

Wage Protections and Labor Standards, including the disclosure whether
contractors allocate any healthcare expenditures to their construction workers, and
report back to council in 60 days;
Request City Auditor to conduct a comprehensive audit of all labor compliance
violations reported by subcontractors over five years from the adoption of the
contractor verification ordinance; and
Request Intergovernmental Affairs Committee to consider adding language in the
Legislative Agenda to advocate greater compliance enforcement by the
Department of Industrial Relations.
