(Citywide) Office or Department: Health and Human Services Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 34. 24-54364 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement, all necessary documents, and any subsequent amendments, including amendments to the award amount and the grant term, with the California Department of Public Health Office of AIDS, to accept and expend funding of the annual allocation in the amount of $1,114,281 for five years, for a total of $5,571,405, for the provision of HIV/AIDS health care services, for the period of April 1, 2024 through March 31, 2029; and Increase appropriations in the Health Fund Group in the Health and Human Services Department by $5,571,405, from 2024 - 2029, offset by grant revenue. (Citywide) Office or Department: Human Resources; Harbor Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 37. 24-54389 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement, and all necessary documents including subsequent amendments, with the Long Beach Community College District, to provide law enforcement and security services, in an estimated amount of $2,808,518, beginning February 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024; and, authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement, and all necessary documents including subsequent amendments, with the Long Beach Community College District, to provide law enforcement and security services, in an estimated annual amount of $4,080,622 for a period of five years, adjusted annually every year on October 1, for cost increases, at the discretion of the City Manager.
