CONSENT CALENDAR (1 – 14) 1. 24-54560 Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $26,491, offset by the Fourth Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide support for the Council District 4 (CD4) end of Summer concerts; and Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $26,491 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department. Levine Act: Yes Office or Department: Joni Ricks-Oddie, Councilmember, Ninth District Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 3. 24-54580 Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $1,350, offset by Fourth Council District One-Time District Priority Funds, transferred from the Citywide Activities Department, to provide support for the following: 1. $250 to Partners of Parks in support of their annual Charity ProAm event; 2. $600 to Care Closet in support of their ongoing efforts to provide resources to the community; 3. $500 to Friends of Long Beach Animals in support of their 35th annual gala; and Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $1,350 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department. Office or Department: City Clerk Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 7. 24-54443 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute a Student Internship Partnership Agreement with the Long Beach Community College District for a term of five years, with the option to extend, at the discretion of the City Manager; and to execute related Work Site Agreements. (Citywide) Office or Department: City Manager; Human Resources Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 8. 24-54445 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to amend Agreement No. 35176 with Chicago Title Company, of Los Angeles, CA; and Agreement No. 35111 with Ticor Title Company of California, of Glendale, CA, for as needed escrow and title services, to increase the aggregate contract amount by $100,000, for a revised total aggregate amount not to exceed $600,000 and extend the term of the Agreements to May 31, 2025. (Citywide) Office or Department: Economic Development Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 9. 24-54444 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to amend Agreement No. 35915 with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., of Los Angeles, CA; Agreement No. 35374 with HR&A Advisors, Inc. of Los Angeles, CA; Agreement No. 35323 with BAE Urban Economics, of Berkeley, CA; Agreement No. 36208 with Jones Lang LaSalle, of El Segundo, CA; and Agreement No. 35324 with Keyser Marston Associates, Inc., of Los Angeles, CA, for as-needed real estate economic analysis professional services, to increase the aggregate contract amount by $500,000, for a revised total aggregate amount not to exceed $2,000,000, and extend the term of the Agreements to May 31, 2025. (Citywide) Office or Department: Health and Human Services Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 11. 24-54448 Recommendation to receive and file the application of Farm Luck Incorporated, dba Taishi Hainan Chicken, for an original application of an Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) License at 3426 East 4th Street, submit a Public Notice of Protest to ABC; and direct City Manager to withdraw the protest if a Conditional Use Permit Exemption (CUPEX) is granted. (District 3) Levine Act: Yes Office or Department: Police Department Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 12. 24-54447 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to amend Contract No. 35886 with Critical Incident Videos Corp., of Fort Lauderdale, FL, formerly Critical Incident Videos, LLC, of Vacaville, CA, to provide transparency engagement advising services and production services for critical incident videos, to increase the annual contract amount by $109,000, for a revised annual contract amount not to exceed $144,000, and extend the contract to March 21, 2025, with the option to renew for one additional one-year period, at the discretion of the City Manager.
