(Citywide) Levine Act: Yes Office or Department: Financial Management Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 19. 24-54942 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute a contract, and any necessary documents including any necessary subsequent amendments, with Specialized Elevator Services, LLC, of Santa Fe Springs, CA, for providing elevator maintenance, repair, and related services, on the same terms and conditions afforded to the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD), in an annual amount of $350,000, authorize a 20 percent contingency in the amount of $70,000, for a total annual contract amount not to exceed $420,000, until the LBUSD contract expires on June 30, 2025, by which time the Departments of Public Works and Financial Management expect to have completed the City’s own competitive procurement for a long-term elevator maintenance contract. Office or Department: Human Resources Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 21. 24-54944 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute any and all documents necessary for a License Agreement with Kilroy Realty, LP, a Delaware limited liability partnership, for the short-term use of a portion of the parking lot located at 3880 Kilroy Airport Way, for the Long Beach Airport Festival of Flight; and Authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute any and all documents necessary for Release and Indemnification Agreements with any tenants of the Long Beach Airport, granting the City use of their ground service equipment, or other personal property, in connection with the Festival of Flight. (Citywide) Office or Department: Technology and Innovation Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 24. 24-54948 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all necessary documents and any subsequent amendments, including amendments to the award amount or terms, with the California Emerging Technology Fund to accept and expend grant funding in the amount of $20,000 to support the Local Government Best Practices Check List for Digital Equity Grant Application for Learning Community (Project), for the term September 2024 to May 2025; Authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all necessary documents and any subsequent amendments with the California Emerging Technology Fund to accept and expend grant funds for the Local Government Best Practices Check List Grant, in the amount of $1,000 for the term September 2024 to May 2025; and Increase appropriations in the General Services Fund Group in the Technology and Innovation Department by $21,000 offset by grant revenue.
