1. 22-026MA Recommendation to approve the Marine Advisory Commission minutes for
the meeting held on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation
NEW BUSINESS
2. 22-028MA Recommendation to endorse the submission to execute any and all
documents necessary for a Fourth Amendment to Lease No. 27959 with
The Gondola Getaway, Inc., to extend the Lease for one year, through
April 30, 2023, to allow for continued operation of the Lessee’s gondola
concession while a new agreement process is conducted. (District 3)
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation
3. 22-029MA Recommendation to endorse the submission to execute a Memorandum of
Understanding between the City of Long Beach and the Long Beach Yacht
Club, a non-profit public benefit corporation, establishing a management
agreement for installation and use of temporary floating dock, small boat
storage and paddle board racks on property within the jurisdiction of the
City of Long Beach currently managed and maintained by Long Beach
Yacht Club. (District 3)

4. 22-030MA Recommendation to endorse the submission to prepare and present to the
City Council an Ordinance amending sections of the Long Beach
Municipal Code (LBMC). Amendments will address antiquated LBMC
sections related to Chapter 16.08 - Marinas and Chapter 16.12 - Pacific
Ocean Areas that, as currently stated, are no longer applicable in the form
of efficient and effective governance of the Long Beach Marinas. (Districts
1, 2, 3)
